Do we have to sign a long contract?
No long lock-in. Your agreement sets out the term in plain English, and we'd rather keep you by doing the work well.
Can we switch provider in the middle of the school year?
Yes. We plan it with you and your current provider, and move the bigger pieces in half-term or the holidays. Nothing is switched off until its replacement is working.
What will it cost?
It depends on the size of your school or trust and what you already have. After the free check you get one monthly price in writing, with no surprises on the invoice.
If your budget is set in spring, now is a good time to get the numbers.
We already have an IT technician. Do we still need you?
Maybe not for everything. Many schools keep their technician for day-to-day help in the building, and we take on security, monitoring and backups, and cover when they're away. Your technician gets support, not a replacement.
Where is our data, and what about GDPR?
We work to UK GDPR and sign a data processing agreement with you. We set out in writing where your data is held and who can access it.
We buy through LGfL. Can you still help?
Yes. We can work alongside the services you already get through LGfL, including your broadband and filtering, and look after everything around them.
How quickly do you respond, and do you come on site?
Urgent issues go to the front of the queue, and you speak to a person, not a ticket bot. Response times are written into your agreement.
Most issues are fixed remotely. When something needs hands in the building, an engineer visits.
